Our 8 oz candles come in beautiful frosted white and/or amber jars with wooden lids. Each candle has an average burn time of about 40-60 total hours. This is the most popular candle size.
 
Our candles are handpoured in small batches using a luxury coconut apricot blend wax. The wax is vegan, cruelty-free, and made from natural, renewable sources. After testing over a dozen different waxes, we settled on this one because it offers a beautiful, smooth finish, with excellent scent throw, is non-toxic, paraben-free, and phtalate-free. Coconut apricot wax burns longer than soy wax and more cleanly than paraffin. Coconut apricot wax also burns differently than soy or paraffin. Do not be alarmed if the melt pool is smaller at the top of the candle or if there is wax hang up on the sides of the candle as it burns. By the time the flame reaches the middle of the candle, the melt pool will extend to the edges of the candle and the hung up wax will melt down. This allows for a slow burning candle that does not get too hot to the touch, which can be dangerous.
 
Our candles are mild to moderately scented. Strong enough to fill a space but not so overpowering as to cause headaches. We observe all IFRA (International Fragrance Association) recommendations on maximum and safe usage of essential and fragrance oils. We only purchase our essential and fragrance oils from trusted sources that test all of their oils for safety and toxicity and release IFRA guidelines for each.
 
WARNING: Burn the candle within sight. Keep away from flammable objects and drafts. Keep away from children and pets. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Do not touch candle while it is burning as candle may be hot.
 
BURNING INSTRUCTIONS: Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn candle for more than four hours at a time. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.
