This is the sex-linked version of the Easter Egger. You can tell which chick is male and which is female at hatch. We have combined our Easter Egger flock with the BC1 OE backcrossed to a blue egger (Spearmint Egger) flock and both are being sold under this section as Easter Eggers. You can expect eggs colors from lighter olives to spearmint green, matcha, and blue. 
 
Easter Eggers can go by many names: Americana, Sapphire Blue, Azure Blue, Starlight Green Egger, Sage Egger, W. True Green, etc. They are all essentially a hybrid cross or multigenerational mixes where one parent (or grandparent) carries the blue egg gene. We use multiple breeds to create our F1 Easter Eggers. 80% of the pullets from this pen will lay a green egg, 20% will lay a blue egg. As with all crosses, there is a very, very small chance of a bird laying a brown or white egg due to a random mutation but we have never seen one in our breeding program. The greens will usually be lighter than the Olive Eggers and will most likely be shades of pale green, spearmint, and matcha. Chicks may or may not have beards, muffs, and/or crests. Pullets will be chocolate, black, red, or mauve, or barred cream. Cockerels will be black, blue, white, barred, or barred cream.
