Safeguard Aquasol (Fenbendazole) is the only FDA-approved treatment for worms in poultry. Don't mistake this for the Safeguard Goat Dewormer you can buy at the feed store. Unlike the regular Safeguard goat dewormer, Safeguard Aquasol is made for dispersal in the water. You can mix Aquasol into the drinking water and treat the entire flock at the same time without having to dose each individual bird. Aquasol is effective against many types of worms including roundworms, tapeworms, capillary worms, gapeworms, cecal worms, and flukes. It is very safe and there is no egg withdrawal period! A 10mL container which can treat up to 150 birds (880 total lbs of chickens) for 5 days.

Warning: Keep out of reach of children. We recommend you wear gloves and protective eyewear. Fenbendazole, the active ingredient in Safeguard Aquasol, has been known to cause feather damage in new feathers if given while the chicken is undergoing new feather formation, such as during molt. If deworming during the molting season, we recommend using a different dewormer to reduce the risk of feather damage. It is also recommended to alternate different dewormers in order to reduce the risk of worms developing resistance to a specific dewormer.
